Tens of Bulgarian artists will participate in a charity exhibition that aims at helping with the fundraising for the graffiti artist Ivan Milchev, known as Rate NLS. The Blood Brothers exhibition will take place from 7th to 10th of August at KO-OP (17 Yanko Sakazov Blvd). Some of the biggest names from the graffiti community will take part in the event, such as Arsek, Erase, Arno, Ndoe, Nasimo, Esteo, Porn, Brus, Epik, Smokov Tatoo, Petya and Evgeni Evlogievi, Maze, Felon, Bozko, Glow, Xpome, Mouse, as well as the DJs from Dope Zoo who will join exclusively for the opening.
Ivan Milchev, known as Rate NLS in the Bulgarian and International graffiti scene, was diagnosed with leukemia at the end of 2019. The good news is that the illness was caught in a very early stage and it is treatable. However, the treatment process is long and Ivan needs financial support that his family, colleagues and friends would like to help him with. ”We decided to organise a charity exhibition, as we believe that we are that many and that we are powerful enough to help one of us in this type of situation.”, says Krasen Dimitrov, one of the organisers.
All of the funds from the prints sold will go for financial support of Ivan Milchev’s treatment. Apart from purchasing the art pieces, one can help through a bank wire or by a donation in Ivan’s box, that will be placed in KO-OP during the exhibition.

Given the situation with Covid-19, all safety precautions will be taken during the exhibition. Taking in consideration the space and the social distancing recommendations, only a certain number of people will be let into the gallery at a time.
